We are delighted to have our new defibrillator securely stored at Kerlin’s Today’s Local, Aughabrack. The defibrillator is located on the left hand side of the door of the shed at Kerlin’s Shop.
This defibrillator is for everyone’s use, should the unfortunate need arise.
Upon calling 999, if a defibrillator is required the ambulance service will direct you to Kerlin’s Shop and also give you the code needed to access the unit.
Information on accessing the unit (including the emergency code) will also be printed in the parish bulletin every week.
The club are currently organising a training course on how to use the defibrillator, and this will be open to everyone to attend if they wish. Date and time to be confirmed ASAP.
Once again, we would like to thank everyone for their support in raising the vital funds for this potentially life saving piece of equipment, and to Kerlin’s Shop for allowing us to use their premises.
