We are delighted to announce that the club will be going Smoke Free from Monday 1st April 2019.
In partnership with the Public Health Agency and the GAA Healthy Clubs Project, we will be erecting signage at both our Aughabrack and Dunamanagh facilities. From Monday 1st April smoking (including the use of eCigarettes) will be strictly prohibited on all of our grounds and facilities.
As part of the launch, we are running a ‘Smoke Free Poster Competition’ with our 3 local Primary Schools; Altishane, Loughash and St.Patricks. The winning posters will be displayed in our club rooms along with the new Smoke Free Policy.
There is no safe level of exposure to second-hand smoke, therefore we are taking positive steps to protect our players, supporters, members and visitors from the immediate dangers of tobacco and second-hand smoke exposure.
We are sure you will all join us in driving forward this exciting initiative – and help make our club a safer and healthier environment for everyone!
